Free book bleg
Routledge Press is offering me a free book for filling out a survey. I've narrowed down the field to seven books, listed below. I'd appreciate any comments on these books, for or against.
You should defintely go for the cookbook. Ethnomusicologists do eat well. And in any case, if you absolutely need one of the theory books, you can probably deduct it as a legitimate business expense.
The cookbook is the only one I have looked at in any depth, and it is cute, funny, etc, and well worth a read. I wouldn't spend money on it, personally, but as a freebe....
